Worry refers to the thoughts, images, and emotions of a negative nature in a repetitive, uncontrollable manner that results from a proactive cognitive risk analysis made to avoid or solve anticipated potential threats and their potential consequences.
Though we are encouraged to worry less on the issues of life, man can never stop to worry. This is what make him concious of tomorrow; to live a better life today from the outcome of yesterday. Yet, worry is a killer!
Causes of Worries
We worry for different reasons especially when the outcome may affect us or our loved ones.
Worries triggered when we are faced with situations that we have very little or no control over; situations that are either depended on nature itself or a higher authority that we may not have the ability to control. We fear the unknown.
How can worrying affect us
Worries has done more harm than good. Worries can cause mental disorders and attitude change that can lead to even suicide.
If excessive worrying and high anxiety go untreated, they can lead to depression and even suicidal thoughts.
Worries are not what we have control over. Every human is bound to be worried. Even God himself worries but excessive worries are what can do the untold damage.
WORRY LESS!
@focygray. I dunno if you are a psychologist or not but I use to worry about about a breakup with a lady I loved so much. Mentally, it felt like I was torturing myself until I got over everything. To worry is retrogressive. Thanks for sharing
Time always heals us. There is no way any one can said he never worries. It is normal you worried on the breakup of someone you loved. I am glad you got over it!. Thanks for contributing.
