Hello friends. Thank you for having me again. You are awesome.
I always appreciate all contributions you have offered here. They are packed with such a panache of critical thinking that I sometimes say "wow wow wow"
Now friend long time ago not very long of course grid power was for the well to do guys in our society. It was then a big luxury with a few very few guys.I remember as kids we would visit families with a television two or three kilometers away just to watch it.We used to be uninvited guests but in the days people used to be generous.
On seeing visitors they would cook more food which used to be normally sweet potatoes, to accommodate us too.
That is a by-the-way and it is not the point though. For those who of us who feel that I am taking more time foretelling my story before striking the point should tell me which one journey they travelled without looking sideways. Besides your English composition teacher was different from mine.
In our institution we have come along way.One of our goals has been to get connected to power grid which would pave way to the usage of computers. Our children have never touched a computer let alone seeing it.Computer knowledge is no longer an option as the world is turning to it.
So after applying the installers brought the electric poles to the site.
The also brought the electric conductor wire.
They dug holes on the ground to erect the electric poles.
Then they came erecting the electric poles.
Meanwhile the height fear(acrophobia) was not looking at these guys.So one of these daring guys climbed as if climbing to sky to fix the electric conductor.
Finally the whole exercise is concluded by dropping a power supply cable to one of our rooms.
Now our kids can view their first computer and the power is used for lighting too.
Thank you friends for walking this journey with me.You have been patient because sometimes our cultures and various status are like east is to the west. On the other I thank Hive and other groups and communities hereon for making us one here.May God bless each one of you.
