“The brave may not live forever, but the cautious do not live at all” ~ Richard Branson
In order to reach the level of success that you want, taking risks is inevitable. I am not talking about taking blind risks without even thinking. But at some point, you have to be brave, take your chance and don’t look back.
“It matters not what someone is born, but what they grow to be” ~ J.K. Rowling
We don’t choose our birth place. We don’t choose to be born in an extremely challenging environment. But what we DO choose is the way we react to the circumstances. It’s up to us to build an empowering mindset and create the kind of success that we know we deserve.
“When you undervalue what you do, the world will undervalue who you are” ~ Oprah Winfrey
You have to be the FIRST ONE to believe in your work. You must have a firm conviction that YOU MATTER, and that your work could make a difference out there. Stay focused and confident, no matter what. Your unshakable belief will radiate and eventually make others believe in you too.
“If you don’t give up, you still have a chance. Giving up is the greatest failure” ~ Jack Ma
We don't always know how close we are from reaching our goals. Sometimes people give up JUST before crossing the finish line. Don’t do that. If you feel tired, then rest. And then, keep moving forward.
“It’s fine to celebrate success but it is more important to heed the lessons of failure” ~ Bill Gates
You have to rethink the concept of failure. Remember when you were learning how to read? Did you master it directly? If you were like me, you probably didn’t. But you’ve learnt from your mistakes. Don’t allow fear to take control. If you fall, stand up, reflect, and try again.
“The first step is to establish that something is possible; then probability will occur” ~ Elon Musk
You don’t know what you don’t know. What you see as impossible might just be something you are unaware of. Open your mind, learn, explore, and you’ll see plenty of new opportunities coming your way.
“We think, mistakenly, that success is the result of the amount of time we put in at work, instead of the quality of time we put in” ~ Arianna Huffington
This refers to the notion of Time Management. To better understand, I like to compare it to the way we invest our money. What do you think is more important? The amount of money you invest somewhere, or the quality of the investment itself? Think about it. When the time is gone, it’s gone forever. We can’t change our past. Therefore it’s important to manage our present wisely, in order to create the future we deeply want.
