Why do people procrastinate?

As we all know most people like to do they job at the last moment before the due date such as assignment. I'm not saying whether it is good or a bad but most of people can only do their task when they are under pressure and some people like to keep up to date.

From my view point, people procrastinate for different reason such as when they are afraid of failure and i also did experience that kind of feelings for example when i have an assignment to finish and the due is on the next day. Even so, i will make sure my assignment finish before the due date. How is this even possible? It depends on situation i'm in such as when i am under pressure, i will put 120% of my focus towards the task given since i know i have to submit the task no matter what even thou when i need to push myself to the limits where i can work my a** off the whole day without sleeping. Well whether i'm doing the task given perfectly or not is entirely up to me because i'm not the one who will be the judge of my own work.

As a human being, we can't do a lot of work at the same time in a day, so the task per day have to be divided in order to reduce the load. As i can related to the wisest leaders that take procrastination and they basically just sit around and keep thinking what they should be doing and not to do anything unless they are absolute had to.

Managing delay is essential for human beings. As we can be feel more relax yet successful when they can manage delay. Like i mention before, most people procrastinate in their everyday life and it is a to be said a common state of being for humans which is normal. The daily task will keep on increasing every single day which may lead to more and more task than we can possibly do, so we will always be forcing a type of outlandish postponement on a few task. The question isn't about whether we are procrastinating, it is whether we are procrastinating admirably.

Procrastinate is made not born, as i can relate with daily habits of a person who like to delay in every single things they do in their daily activities even when it comes to a simple task such as washing a cloth, buy grocery, feed the dog and even eating etc. These habits may have been develop since childhood and when it does, it will be very hard to control this "delay" habits. For parents who have a child, they need to make sure to educate their child even if they have to scold them but in a appropriate manner because the child might get rebellious when they grow older.

This is the dark side of it. There is also a cost to procrastinate. For instance, in term of health that is mostly happen especially to students. By doing so, procrastinating will not just delaying all the work but also it will compromises the immune systems that may result to colds and flu and insomnia. However, procrastination also can cost the others as well; it shifts the burden and responsibility of oneself towards others, and they might hold grudge. In other words, there will be no teamwork in the workplace or college and private relationship for people who apply procrastination in their daily life.

There is a lot more to talk about procrastination, but you will be the one to decide whether its a good or bad habits since we know ourselves better than anyone else.

Anyway nice sharing with you guys! Hope y'all gain something from this. cheers! XD
