Hola amigos de hive, hoy voy a contarles un poco de cómo es que me interese en la música, más que todo en aprender a tocar el saxofón.
Siempre me ha fascinado la música, me ha causado mucho interés desde que vi por primera vez un concierto de rock en la tele, me encantó y me enamore del sonido del bajo, me sigue encantando y quiero aprender a tocarlo. Aunque cuando tenía como 10 años mi papá me metió en un curso de cuatro, que es un instrumento típico de aquí de Venezuela.
No estaba muy entusiasmada, porque no era algo que yo quisiera, pero agradezco que por lo menos se interesó en inculcarme algo de el ámbito musical. Estuve en dos cursos, pero como no era mi pasión tocar el mismo pues no me quedaron grabados muchos recuerdos de esas enseñanzas.
Luego cuando ya estaba en el bachillerato, en el colegio había una banda llamada "FUNBAVIV" una mañana entraron a mi salón y nos comentaron sobre cómo era estar en la banda, que instrumentos había y también que había vacantes para bailarinas, yo me entusiasme demasiado y cuando llegue a casa le pedí permiso a mi papá.
Mi hermana también queria meterse, ella es un año y medio mayor que yo, así que fuimos las dos, el ensayo era el sábado. Ella se metió a bailarina y yo la seguí, porque aún no estaba segura de lo que queria, y cuando empezaron con la coreografía y los pasos simplemente me dije que no era para mi ser bailarina, no me malinterpreten, amo bailar, pero en ese momento no tenía pasión por el baile.
De repente una muchacha anuncio al grupo nuevo, o sea, donde nosotras estábamos, que si se querían meter a músico que fuéramos con ella, yo no lo pensé y me fue de una vez, fui la única que lo hizo de ese grupo.
Ella me enseñó los instrumentos y me preguntó cuál me interesaba, solo veía percusión, así que elegí, no se por que, el bombo. Ya se, una niña de 13 años tocando un bombo, para los que no saben un bombo es un instrumento musical de percusión, su timbre es muy grave que se usa usualmente para marcar y mantener el pulso en diversos estilos de música.
En fin, me gustó y luego fui a esperar a mi hermana, al parecer lo de ella era ser bailarina. Les comento que de niña yo no era muy femenina por lo que quiza tampoco encajaba muy bien en ese círculo de chicas creídas, con más autoestima y a veces prepotentes. Luego nos comentaron que la banda viajaba, así que si queríamos estar y pertenecer, era algo que ya nuestros padres deberían saber y aceptar.
Ese fue un problema, mi papá no lo acepto y ahí se acabó mi corto momento en la banda show.
Luego ya cuando estaba en 4to año decidí que era mi momento para intentar de nuevo, y eso lo descubri antes de ingresar de nuevo a la banda.
Estaba yo en mi apartamento barriendo y ordenando, cuando en la radio escucho una canción que me pareció muy linda, de repente suena un solo, un solo de saxofon tenor si recuerdo bien, esa ha sido la primera vez que lloré al escuchar un instrumento, y de verdad me llegó al corazón, gracias a eso decidí que debía aprender e inmiscuirme en el mundo de la música.
Bueno, regresando al 4to año, esta vez no le pedí permiso a mi papá, simplemente lo hice, me meti a la banda, y cuando me preguntaron que instrumento quería tocar, de una vez sin duda alguna dije, el saxofón, y a partir de ahi fueron muchas enseñanzas, lo primero sobre cómo hacerlo sonar, las partes, las notas, la escala más conocida, como sostenerlo, y demás. Fue increíble todo lo que aprendí, no era la mejor en ese momento claro está, pero poco a poco fui volviéndome la mejor y eso mis profesores me lo recalcaban, disfrute mucho lo que aprendí, y lo que seguire aprendiendo, espero algún día poder cómprarme mi saxo propio y seguir creciendo con la música.
Y me encantaría aprender a tocar otros instrumentos como ya les comenté, el bajo, también el piano, la batería, la guitarra acústica y bueno, todo lo que pueda que me llame la atención. Amo el universo único de la música y sus sensaciones. Una de mis cosas favoritas es ver una buena sinfónica en vivo, una Filarmónica o una orquesta. Me llena el alma. Y se que algún día podré ir a escuchar y ver alguna opera que me parta el corazón de lo bella que será.

Hello hive friends, today I'm going to tell you a little about how I got interested in music, especially in learning to play the saxophone.
I have always been fascinated by music, it has caused me a lot of interest since I first saw a rock concert on TV, I loved it and I fell in love with the sound of the bass, I still love it and I want to learn how to play it. Although when I was about 10 years old my dad put me in a cuatro course, which is a typical instrument here in Venezuela.
I wasn't very enthusiastic, because it wasn't something I wanted, but I appreciate that he was at least interested in instilling in me something of the musical realm. I was in two courses, but as it was not my passion to play it, I did not have many memories of those teachings.
Then when I was in high school, in the school there was a band called "FUNBAVIV" one morning they came into my classroom and told us about what it was like to be in the band, what instruments there were and also that there were openings for dancers, I got too excited and when I got home I asked my dad for permission.
My sister also wanted to get in, she is a year and a half older than me, so we both went, the rehearsal was on Saturday. She got into dancing and I followed her, because I still wasn't sure what I wanted, and when they started with the choreography and the steps I just told myself that it wasn't for me to be a dancer, don't get me wrong, I love dancing, but at that moment I had no passion for dancing.
Suddenly a girl announced to the new group, that is, where we were, that if they wanted to become a musician we should go with her, I didn't think about it and I left at once, I was the only one who did it from that group.
She showed me the instruments and asked me which one I was interested in, I only saw percussion, so I chose, I don't know why, the bass drum. I know, a 13 year old girl playing a bass drum, for those who don't know a bass drum is a percussion musical instrument, its timbre is very low that is usually used to mark and keep the pulse in various styles of music.
Anyway, I liked it and then I went to wait for my sister, apparently her thing was to be a dancer. I tell you that as a child I was not very feminine so maybe I did not fit very well in that circle of girls with more self-esteem and sometimes overbearing. Then they told us that the band traveled, so if we wanted to be and belong, it was something that our parents should know and accept.
That was a problem, my dad didn't accept it and that was the end of my short time in show band.
Then when I was in 4th grade I decided that it was my time to try again, and I discovered that before joining the band again.
I was in my apartment sweeping and tidying up, when on the radio I heard a song that I thought was very nice, suddenly a solo sounds, a tenor saxophone solo if I remember well, that was the first time I cried when I heard an instrument, and it really touched my heart, thanks to that I decided that I had to learn and get involved in the world of music.
Well, going back to 4th grade, this time I didn't ask my dad for permission, I just did it, I joined the band, and when they asked me what instrument I wanted to play, I said without a doubt, the saxophone, and from then on there were many teachings, first about how to make it sound, the parts, the notes, the most known scale, how to hold it, and so on. It was incredible everything I learned, I was not the best at that time of course, but little by little I became the best and my teachers emphasized that, I really enjoyed what I learned, and what I will continue learning, I hope someday I can buy my own saxophone and continue growing with music.
And I would love to learn to play other instruments as I already told you, bass, also piano, drums, acoustic guitar and well, everything I can that calls my attention. I love the unique universe of music and its sensations. One of my favorite things is to see a good live symphony, Philharmonic or orchestra. It fills my soul. And I know that one day I will be able to go listen and see an opera that breaks my heart because of how beautiful it will be. Thanks for reading hive friends.

Hermoso relato de tu experiencia con la música, sigue adelante que estoy segura que te espera un futuro exitoso. Me encantó la foto del cuatro, es mi instrumento favorito. Me di un paseo por el piano y la guitarra estando jovencita, pero el cuatro me atrapó. Quizás porque es símbolo de las tierras llaneras y yo amo el llano y su música. ¡¡Felicidades por esa trayectoria musical!! ✨
