RE: "All things whatsoever ye would that men should do to you, do ye even so to them." #LightTheWorld day 13

In my own view, I believe treating others with respect will become easier if you actually understand them. The actions of a person are usually driven by some kind of logic. There are very few people in this world who are driven by pure evil. If you understand their motives, you will understand their actions and you will understand them as a person. In our days nobody really has time for anything, but if you sacrifice your free time to listen to people and to understand them, you will find it easier to treat them with kindness. Passing them by on the street and uttering the word “stupid” won’t do anybody any good. Just give people a chance.

The way you treat people usually comes from your personality. However, personality is something that can be trained. You might not care what people think or how they feel, but if you just try thinking about how you would feel in a given situation, after a while it will come to you naturally. This is the best way to become a people-person.

Matt 5 vs 44
''But I say, love your enemies! Pray for those who persecute you!''

I pray God gives us the grace to live for others and not just for ourselves.
