I popped another hole in my tire. Stupid tack weeds.
My dad said he used to put patches on his bike tires all the time. Maybe I will have to learn how to do that next.
Patching a tyre is a handy skill to have, not only for yourself, but later in life when you have kids of your own too. Hopefully it's not one you need to use a lot though.
That works well. I used to change out the tube to get back on the road quickly, but then repair the puncture later so I had a spare tube ready to go next time it happens.

We just changed out the tube. It was easier and faster so we could go on a ride.
