The King of the Beasts - LION
Game Viewing in the Sabi-Sabi Game Reserve adjacent to The Kruger National Park in South Africa.
This is one of the greatest Wild Life experiences - to be up and close to wild Lions in the bush. The game guides are fantastic, and in these Private Game Reserves they are not limited to driving on the roads. With little or no disturbance to the animals, they get the guests close up for a memorable experience.
The Lion is the largest of the African cats, the males - as seen in this picture - have large manes.
A trip to the African bush is not complete without the viewing of the King of the Beasts - the Lion.

Not quite - buffalo, rhino, elephant, lion, leopard. Not cheetah, giraffe, zebra or any buck. Nice pic, though 😃
Well said kiligirl - to add to the often misunderstood term -"The Big 5" - these are not the biggest 5 animals in Africa - but the 5 most dangerous animals to hunt!

Guess you must be catching a lot of fun in Africa 🌍, tell me, is that a lion sitting not too far from you? You must be brave and bold.
The game viewing vehicles are open and the guides instruct everyone to remain seated and to not extend arms out of the vehicle. Apparently the lions see the car and contents of the car as one collective thing and the guides can get real close to the animals.
Wow! That's truly great. I would be so glad to find myself in such experience. I have never seen any wild animal. It is an experience I would like to have any time soon.
