Litecoin has exceeded its previous all time high of $48.48 today by reaching $49.00 before quickly retreating. The big news is that Bitstamp will be integrating with Litecoin. This is a huge vote of confidence for Litecoin as Bitstamp is a major exchange, but only trades Bitcoin and Ripple. They will be adopting Litecoin before Ethereum (with plans for Ethereum soon).
It is my prediction that Litecoin will struggle to breach it's all time high this cycle. There should be significant resistance @ the ~$48.48 mark. However, the LTC/BTC charts tell a completely different story. See for yourself:
