There's lots of talk around now about how Litecoin is going to become the #1 used crypto. The fact that it's transaction fees are way lower than BTC, and its 4x quicker processing, i think makes it a better coin overall. Definitely better than BTC to transact with on a daily basis, there's no question about that.
So if Bitcoin become's just a storage of value, and you just buy it and hold it, Litecoin will have a good chance to become the new main stream crypto that's used and excepted everywhere.
What will this do to the price though? Do you think they'd want to keep the price low, and not have it skyrocket up. To try to keep it stable, and attractive to use, buying and selling daily for purchases, and not just worrying about timing everything with the ups and downs?
not likely. Bitcoin still wins, due to the fact that 99% of the people who know nothing, will only know bitcoin when the dollar collapses this summer.
Bitcoin has always been the gold standard in Crypto. Litecoin has some ease of usage benefits in small transactions but segwit will be fixing that for BTC in just a few weeks.
year 2040 litecoin vs. bitcoin vs. EOS
litecoin = opel oldtimer in garage - worth something rarely used for payment or contracts.
Bitcoin = Ferrari in garage not used for payment - status symbol
EOS = will do all the work together with lisk, komodo and ubiQ.
Very good post. Good to see I'm not the only one who thinks like this. It's surprising how much uneducated investors the crypto space has. You still see people invest in this shady and scammy coins. We do need to look better at the insights of every coin. What team is behind it, is there any management. How strong is the product, is there any product at all?
