I am very glad you are finally discussing poetry, though for the first time I hear and read the story of WB Yeats. Interesting to know that most poets become poetry when they fall in love. This is experienced by many young people who try to captivate her idol girl with a romantic line of sentences.
But WB Yeats is very different because of his perseverance to fight for his feelings. Four times failed for women alike I think is very painful. Perhaps someone else easily said, why did not he look for another woman? Relationships with a woman are not easy when it comes to hearts and feelings. This can not be understood by logic.
I'm glad WB Yeats chose the way of poetry to express his feelings. Imagine, if he chooses a drug or a weapon because of the failure of love, it is all possible under Irish conditions of the day (today also).
Thank you for your great article @donkeypong. I hope next time you review about Mark Twin, he is very popular in Indonesia.
