Quality post! I think Steemit has possibility to be the next big thing. Basic idea in Steemit is so awesome. Steemit will lure regular people to write content in a hope of getting some easy money. At the same it will represent cryptocurrencies to regular people. Which is great!
I believe when community and developers work together then Steemit will rise. I guess that in one year Steemit will have 1,000,000 people from all over the World.
Thats exactly the point: Steemit could become the biggest pr campaign for the use of cryptocurrencies. And it provides a perfect book case for the usage of app coins.
@vorsseli, I still wanted to mention it in the post as well. You are 100% correct. In my books this is the closest that cryptocurrencies has been to becoming a household name. This is the beginning of something big. Also agree that if the community and develpors work together Steemit will rise. The only problem that needs to be sorted out quickly is the deep black hole of content, and creating more people with the ability to pull it out. I am sure many more people will be happy of we have 500 posts generating revenue of $500 each instead of 25 posts generating $10 000 + each because it is on the trending page
