i just now signed up using a less popular email address and the link they sent had no confirmation suffix added to the end of the visible apparent link but the hidden link (that is what really gets clicked unless you cut and paste) had a really long cryptosuffix tracker redirect that led to a 404 error. i tried again with another address at yahoo and that confirm email link had a shorter visible link that could be cut and paste. didn't even need to cut and paste since clicking it worked and went ahead to the 2nd step in the sign up process.
