Paris is definitely one of my top 10 cities in the world and since this is the first city (outside of South Africa) that I travelled to with my wife, it will always have a special place in my heart.
On our last night in Paris we decided to take night photos and, at least, take photos of two of the most famous monuments in Paris: (1) the Eiffel tower and the Arc de Triomphe. I have featured the Eiffel in a previous post and I think everyone knows this iconic iron town on the Champ de Mars designed and built by Gustave Eiffel.
The Arc de Triomphe stands in the middle of a traffic circle at the western end of the Champs-Élysées in the 8th arrondissement of Paris. The Arc de Triomphe honours those who fought & died for France in the French Revolutionary and Napoleonic Wars (got this from Wikipedia).

I have been to Paris many times when I was younger. Unfortunately I was too small to be interested in photography and had a small Sony point and shoot which was very bad in the dark and most of the pictures came out blurry. Many great photo opportunities there.

Nice, i like the blue hour shots of the Eifel tower the most. But Also the arc de Triumph is nice but i think it would be nicer if you had more space left and right on the picture.
Agreed, my composition/spacing was fairly crap. I did not have time to take proper shots of the Arc de Triumph. I ran into the middle of the road, took a photo and then had to run to catch the last train of the evening. ;)
