oh was that in that movie? well I only saw it once when it first came out 40 years ago so I don't remember much of it!

It was! Richard Dreyfus sculpted the mashed potatoes into a shape that looked like Devil's Tower. He keeps having recurring visions of the mountain. I haven't seen it in years either.but the gift shop in the park had plenty of movie memorabilia that jogged my memory about what the film was about.

oh lol. how interesting. Did you guys just use a car to travel or did you have a motorhome?

On that trip we had a truck and a trailer that we sold as soon as we got back home. We decided we were not the camper types and for the amount of money that we had invested in the truck and the trailer we could pay for a whole lot of hotel rooms.

smart move, I'm not the camper type either!

Most times we did VRBO (, vacation rental by owner) places. They were much cozier than motels, and we like to stay in places for three or four days and thoroughly explore the area before we had to move on. I'm done for the night. I'll see you tomorrow! Oh and I won a 2nd Advent contest. They need more people entering!

good for you! and I'll see you tomorrow!
