Hello friends Steemans, today I bring you the story of one of the characters I love in the world of Warcraft. I know that its content is extended, but it is difficult to reduce ALL the history, of the character, I hope you like it.
Illidan Tempestira the first demon hunter, was the self-proclaimed Lord of Outland, who ruled from the Dark Temple. Lord of the illidari and known for a long time as the traitor.
A character of great impact in the history of the world of Warcraft. Illidan was born as a night elf, in the nation of Val'sharah with his twin brother Malfurion. His eyes of a golden color, which had a very deep meaning in this society, expected a great destiny for him.
He, along with his brother, grew up in the city of Suramar, where they became friends with Tyrande Whisperwind; Together they began the path of druidism with the help of the demigod Cenarius, Illidan tried to dominate the druidic forces like his brother and Tyrande, but he began to feel that it did not fit, something perhaps ironic, since his amber eyes indicated a great potential inherent druid.
Cenarius stripped Illidan of his teachings, because he was not a dedicated and respectful student like his brother, telling him that his brother Malfurion would be the first druid, and if he wanted to learn he should do it from him. Illidan was offended, this fact was further aggravated because his friend Tyrande was present, since then both brothers had strong feelings towards her.
Seeking his destiny, Illidan enlisted in the elven army of the night, with effort and innate ability proved to be an exceptional magician's apprentice, to the point of becoming the personal sorcerer of military leader Kur Talos Crest Raven, despite not being a Highborne.
Years passed and the invasion was pronounced in Azeroth by Sargeras and led by Archimone, Queen Azshara and Los Altosborne betrayed their people by negotiating a deal with these powerful demons in search of more knowledge and power. Malfurion upon learning of everything convinced Illidan to leave his queen, Illidan followed his brother. But when Cenarius and the dragons entered the battle, thus initiating the war of the ancestors, Malfurion realized that his enemies were very powerful to fall in battle, to stop them he had to put an end to the well of eternity, the source of energy that was practically the strongest link between the legion and this world.

(Archimonde)
(Azshara)
The idea of
Malfurion was out of series for the night elves, this source was sacred, it was his link with the arcane magic and the reason for his eternal life, Illidan could not accept that something like this happened, this idea dismayed him too and to make matters worse many night elves learned of Illidan's admiration for the fiery legion, strictly speaking in the ability to use such pure magics hidden in these chaotic behaviors, while the night elves suffered from enduring their positions, the fiery legion was not affected in number, these did not seem to weaken at all.
After the death of Latosius, Illidan became the new leader of the moon guard that was immediately tested with an invasion in the strong "dark tower", however, Illidan did not use his assistants in the maximum potential, these they gave them all the power with their magic and leaving them without any way of defending themselves.
While Illidan would have passed among the demons and confronted his generals, this adsorbed the powers of his magicians immediately causing death, after this he understood that to defeat the fiery legion needed a great sacrifice, of course not everyone understood his point of view , it was Kur 'Talos Cresta Cuervo that confronted him at the beginning.
After this event, the satirist Xavius
contacted Illidan to use his doubts, including the fact that Tyrande had chosen Malfurion as his partner, taking advantage of his confusion to plant seeds of mistrust in his mind, causing Illidan to start looking for the power of the Burning Legion to become a stronger being.
Illidan at that time had convinced himself that Malfurion had to die in order not to have a rival in love, and finally saw Tyrande in his brother's arms, breaking relations with the defenders of Azeroth, retreating from the battle and seeking his path. It is believed that during these times Illidan confronted a demon named Azzinoth who defeated him and took his weapons as his own, what would be known as Azzinoth's Warguard.
Illidan was beginning to understand his own destiny, and with a new plan in mind, he traveled to Zin-Azshari. There he feigned an alliance with Azshara and Mannoroth, revealing to them his brother Malfurion's plan, which consisted of obtaining the Demon Soul, a device of great power created by Deathwing, which had the ability to close the portal that was bringing the demons to Azeroth. . However, Illidan wanted to obtain this artifact for himself, but to fulfill this plan, Illidan had to gain even more power, which eventually led him to have an encounter with the same Sargeras, who quickly discovered the elf's plan to obtain the Soul of the Devil, Sargeras was pleased with this plan, and gave Illidan a "gift" for his alliance. A power that destroyed Illidan's eyes, and put in place some orbs of a mystical fire that allowed Illidan to see all forms of magic, but actually allowed him to see the reality behind the fiery legion, win this battle in Azeroth it would mean nothing at all, but despite the powers of the fallen Titan and his new access to his vile and arcane magic, Illidan remained steadfast in his determination to seek ways to eliminate the legion forever.
The marks that were drawn throughout his body became the faithful witness of the sacrifice that this elf of the night had to do. Azshara was fascinated with the "new" Illidan, but remained cautious, ordering Captain Varo'then to accompany Illidan in his search for the Demon Soul, succeeding in his mission and delivering the artifact to the same lord of the Mannoroth well. The demons thought that this soul of a demon could be favorable for them, using it to improve the portal that was in the same well of the eternity.
After this Illidan would meet again with the resistance Kaldorei who for all this doubted for their position of their intentions having seen how this carried the marks of the corruption of the enemy, but still the Stormrage brothers worked together proving to be a force to fear when they were in unison.
The battle waged by the Kaldorei resistance ended with the destruction of the demonic soul that left the portal unstable causing the same well of eternity to explode. When all were fleeing, Illidan took seven vials with the water from the Well of Eternity and with this he made sure that his magic did not end forever. But the implosion in the well produced a great change in the whole planet by destroying the great continent of Kalimdor in several small continents.
After all these events Illidan climbed the peaks of Mount Hyjal, where he found a small and quiet lake, there he emptied three vials into the water. The chaotic energies quickly manifested, contaminating the lake and transforming it into a new Well of Eternity. Illidan's joy was short, when Malfurion, Tyrande and the rest of the Kaldorei leaders discovered him, all were horrified by what he had done. Unable to accept that his brother had committed such a betrayal, Malfurion again tried to explain to Illidan the foolishness of his actions. The magic he insisted was chaotic by nature and could only bring destruction as long as it existed. Illidan refused to listen to him, said that they would need this magic if the Legion ever returned. The lack of remorse struck Malfurion to himself and he became angry with his brother, understanding now that Illidan was lost forever. He ordered that he be imprisoned in the depths of Hyjal in a prison far from sight and mind.
The story still continues, awaits the second part of the Lore of Illidan Stormrage. If you liked me follow me for more content, do not forget to support me with your vote.
