If anyone that can code on the blockchain is interested I would like to set up this project in an automated (as much as possible) way.
The free lottery on HIVE
Thesis:
- people delegate HIVE
- 1 Hive is one ticket
- that HP is used to Curate posts
- the Curated amount is the lottery jackpot
- A randomizer picks one lucky person and they get X% (90 or 95) of the pot 90%
- We have one winner per Day or Week
- The rest of the % would be for the project.
Hurdles:
- Take the block number to randomize the winner?
- Distribute the tickets according to the number of delegators
I have no idea if this is at all possible but would like to try and build something like this.
A potential option would be a hive engine token that would fulfill the same purpose. That might allow for more use cases like integration in other games like @Dcity
Monetization:
5% of the proceeds is a number that seems fair to me. This can be adjusted lower if needed depending on the amount of HP delegated
