People say falling in love is simply awesome but falling out of love is sadly awful. Whatcha think? It's the stunning look of love, the sweet, sweet whispers of affection, and the tender, heartwarming acts of kindness.

I've been into heartbreaks before though, I never got into a romantic relationship. There are simply lots of reasons why we get that hurtful feeling, it could be because of unhealthy friendships, family conflicts, career breakdowns, or simply some kind of personal inner struggles. But how can a broken heart be mended?
I'm not a love guru. But this is just on what I have experienced, heard from others, and read from books and magazines.
1. Acknowledge that you are hurt.
Yes, when you feel betrayed or lost, you will really get hurt. But sometimes we have the tendency of avoiding it. We tend to just pretend that life is okay when it's actually not. Yes, you'll feel lonely, you'll have some headache or even loose some appetite. That would be terrible. You will even feel that this feeling won't end. Yes, I did experience that. I thought I'm going to cry forever. But, friend, when you acknowledge that you are hurt. You will know where you are currently at. That really helps. Get back to reality that you are not alone. You're not the only one suffering from hurt.
I'd like to share to you this part - the acknowledging part. When I recognized myself and admitted that I got hurt, I shed tears and prayed to God. I realized that I needed help. Another comforting realization is that ...
God also gets hurt when I am hurt.

2. List down the things you've learned from that heartbreak
By the way, this is not a step-by-step process. I'm just showing you some tips. But I do pray that this will help you.
I did this before and my friends also advised this. Oh, fellow, list down the things that you have learned. You may be sometimes hating yourself for your iniquities or for allowing yourself to be fooled. However, that's fine. It's over. You are free. You are ready to start a new life. These lessons will guide for the next chapter of your life.
Let me share to you some of the lessons I've learned:
No to Selfishness |We do not own others. |Humility and acceptance

3. Bring your broken heart to God
Maybe some say this counsel is needless. But I tell you, I have tried this and yes, I got healed. :) (I respect different views, by the way.) When I felt that all of my strength were simply vanishing, I prayed earnestly to the Great Healer, and He healed me. I still remember the time when I got teary-eyed while sitting inside a church, in my heart I shouted to God, "Lord, speak to me. I am so hurt." I opened my Bible and saw this verse: 2 Kings 20:5 NIV "'This is what the LORD, the God of your father David, says: I have heard your prayer and seen your tears; I will heal you."
God created us. We have this natural tendency to love and be loved. When everything seems to crush into piece, let us have faith of our Creator who knows how to mend our broken hearts. God's love is everlasting. He can give us the love we need. Simply, tell Him about your pains and brokenness, He loves you, He listens.

As you embrace pain and hope at the same time, bringing your heart to God and surrender yourself to Him, know that healing is on the process.
Love again, but this time, be wiser.
God bless us all.
Life we all suffer from the broken heart but trust GOD

Inspiring @abigailoveremo. Acknowledging a broken heart is a good start to mending it.
Yes, that's true. @gloeze. Thanks a lot. :)
When in my deepest pain, God was there for me.
One of the things he taught me during that time was that God knows me better than I know myself. Along with this came the realization that God would know what is not only best for me, but what would bring me the greatest joy. It was then I decided to give over all will to the Lord God. This would result in the greatest life I could live, filled with the joy only he knows that I need.
Thanks for this reflective series. You really are an amazing gal!!
Amen! God is always there for us. We just need to trust Him and be still. Yes, exactly. God knows us more than we do. I agree that God really wants the best for us. Sometimes, we couldn't understand but we need to have faith. Praise God. Giving your will to God is amazing. :) :) @paradise-found. Glory be to God.
