Repetition matters. "Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus."
What more can we say? Amidst all that is going on around us, we still have sure hands to cling on.
I want to share with you what has just happened. ^^
After going out to buy some drinks our temperature was rechecked before entering the school for safety measures. We lined up as usual. It actually becomes a daily routine for everyone. It's my turn to have my "forehead" checked. Oh no! It is 38.4 degrees. Oh, come on... Well, the obvious explanation is the hot temperature outside, so it is expected that changes in our body temperature are predictable. Isn't it? But not for the other teachers, though.
So then we waited for 30 to 45 to an hour to cool down, yet the waiting did not really help us. We tried to put forward the science behind it. Nevertheless, for such a time as this, all we need to do is to be home. (We tried to "argue" just to be in, but it didn't work. hehe) Let us do things professionally, so we abide by the policy and things were done accordingly. It’s we. I was not alone with this. We are two.
Yes, it was just a short period of checking and conversation with some individuals or staff in charge. As I observed, as I always do... I sensed a change of mood in the atmosphere. Like, trying to go a bit far from our presence... of course, the reactions are understandable. ^^
From this circumstance, I would like to say that - Life is meant to be celebrated no matter what the situation is. Before saying, see you tomorrow to each other. We had time to pray. We thanked God for His goodness. We thanked God for our lives. We declared blessing and praise not worries and doubts. Why did we do so? It is because what we believe will come to pass. We choose to guard our minds against any schemes of the enemy. For what guarantee we are protected? For the God who hears our prayer has already won the victory for us who trust Him.
