Mildred Thornhill suspected something was a little off when her tight-fisted mother tried to nuzzle her when she was just six years old. Nevertheless, she lived a relatively normal life among other humans.
It wasn't until she bumped into the devilishly smelly gremlin, Raymond Williams, that her life finally began to make sense.
However, Raymond proved to be ruddy and seemed to have an unhealthy obsession with sleeping. Mildred soon learnt that Raymond had taken an oath never to slap a human being.
When Mildred's tight-fisted mother is injured in a boating accident, Mildred realises her own life is at risk.
Despite Raymond'sthirst for blood and spiky fur, Mildred finds herself falling for the gremlin. Only fate will decided whether he kills or protects her.
One night, a mermaid appears before Mildred and warns her of a darkness within Raymond. The mermaid gives Mildred the peculiar blade - the only weapon that can defeat a smelly gremlin.
Will Mildred find it in herself to kill the only creature who has ever made her feel truly afraid? (Hint: yes!)
