I have a feeling, that tonight's gonna be a good night, i hummed the song which am yet to know the singer as we prepared for the club..
It was a Friday night and with all the #TGIF hashtag, we couldn't be left behind, we don't do it every friday anyway, getting the taxi to drop us off was not an easy task, it was almost 2 a.m somewhere in eastern Nigeria and the night life is nothing compared to places like Portharcourt and Lagos. Emeka picked us after much hassles and grumbling, babe you know say police dey disturb by this time he ranted in pidgin english to the girl that called him as about five girls squeezed themselves into the fairly good taxi, well our business was to get to our destination not his complaints afterall we are paying for the services~~
I alighted first, conscious of my looks and the eyes on me, some of disgust and some admiration, trust our easterners to quickly condemn a girl they saw at the club...i was still feeling myself and the clique i came with, looking bad was not something we do, entering we exchanged greetings with familiar faces, eyed the soon to be new catches and settled in a corner...... I sighted him from my position and boom!!! my heart stopped for a minute.
