I find this very amazing as compared to we humans. The Penguins seems to put more effort into gifting and according to the article some Penguins even steal from other's nest when no one is around.

It truly is. However, we can just show our love and does not have to be through material thing. Some people just can't get enough and wants more.
Good point @leeart, some of us tend to abuse the love towards us and thinks it has to be a must... love is beautiful when it is mutual and genuine regardless of material things.
