So Sheila and I were discussing the other day and she kept complaining about her relationship,💏
She didn't feel it was a relationship and wanted out.
I took time to ask some questions about the relationship and why she didn't feel the initial goosebumps any longer.
"You're in a fake relationship" I told her, without mincing words after several days of research. 😂
Here are few of the signs of detect if you're in a fake relationship or not.
1. No communication or the communication sucks.
Are you in a relationship where the communication between you both sucks, or perhaps, there's little or no communication between you both. That's a sign that you're in a fake relationship.
Someone who truly loves you would always want to hear from you, to know how you're doing at all times.
2. Power fight
When you start fighting over who should express power, then it's a sign that you're in a fake relationship.
3. No fun moments
If every moment spent together isn't worth to be remembered, then it's a sign.
Spending time with someone you love is supposed to be fun and worthwhile.
4. No one cares about the other person's life
I was once in a relationship where the guy never asked about my career and how I hoped to forge ahead. No success talks. Even when I'd tell him about my forthcoming exams, he'll never ask how it went. That is a sure sign that he doesn't really care much about you.
5. You don't know each other's friends/families
Knowing the friend or family of whom you're in a relationship with goes a long way in proving that it's real.
6. The only Chemistry you guys have is Sex
If the only time there's a chemistry between you both is when you're about to have sex, then you're in a fake relationship.
7. Nothing feels special about him/her
If you feel nothing special about him/her, then you must be in a fake relationship.
There's a special kind of feeling you have for the one you truly love and if you don't feel special about the person you're in a relationship with, then you should watch it.
I've seen a lot of people who claim to be in a relationship but obviously are in a fake relationship.
They really don't care about each other.
