💡 5 habits of successful people 💡

in #love7 years ago

Success does not come by from luck or chance, success is built on the foundation of good habits. There are common traits that many people possess. Implementing these positive habits in your life can change help you get where you want to go in life.

Here are traits that most successful people have:

They have good self-control
Successful people understand the importance of self-control. According to the “marshmallow study”, conducted by Walter Mischel, kids who could delay eating marshmallows for instant gratification wound up more successful as adults.

They are consistent
Successful people are consistent with their work. Using Steemit as an example, people who are highly successful on this platform constantly put out good work. @kaylinart is a great example of how consistency pays off. She posts high quality content often. People know what to expect when reading her articles, and they love her for it! If you want to be successful at anything you do in life, you must be consistent.

They take care of their health
If you want to be successful in life, you must first take care of yourself, mentally and physically. This means sleeping if you need rest, eating well so you are fuel properly, etc. You cannot be at your best if you are mentally and physically tired.

They play towards their strengths
You work with what you got. When we are born, we are all dealt different cards. If you learn how to work with what your strengths are, you can excel faster and quicker. Taking advantage of your talents and gifts will help you find success in whatever you decide to do.

Yeah, you're saying it straight here. In my circle of friends, we sum up your list of best practices for success in one word: firmeza. This is a Portuguese word, translated as "firmness" in English, but it's a special kind of firmness. This firmness is not at all rigid or stuck. Instead, it is a strength and a flexibility in thoughts, words, and actions. Firmeza leads to health and well-being in body, heart, mind, soul, and Spirit. To be honest, it isn't always easy for me to be in a state of success, and that's why it's so important to be in a steady practice of firmeza, so I can continue to "row the boat and stay afloat," even through the waves and the wobbles.

wow! I love this comment. Thank you so much for this. I love the idea of being flexible with your thoughts, words, and action. FIRMEZA!

You are so cute!! Hhahah That picture with the monkey is the best! LOL Thank you for the shout out once again! You are too sweet :)

Very good post, and i agree with all the points. As you say success is not random, it is given to those that work the hardest to get it.

Helloo @karensuestudios

Another great post. I agree with you @kaylinart has great quality posts, just like you. I love following both of you. Keep up the great work!

Your article was spot on and I enjoyed reading it! Feel free to take a look at my blog as well and keep Steeming as I will be looking forward to reading more from you!

aww, thanks for stopping by! I'm a big fan of your outreach program, and I just saw that you are giving away tickets to SteemFest! WOW that would be an incredible experience to be a part of. :)

Btw. I just messaged ya on chat! :)

I feel as though I hit most of these points though I am consistent in some aspects of life not so much in others. I get these sprints of consistency and then they die off :( But I have found that it is really really important to stay consistent when you are developing product for others! Thanks for the post, very good!

You are more than welcome! It can be hard to keep motivated for a long time. That's why little breaks and vacations are so nice and refreshing! keeps you happy and recharged.

Luck = Preparation meets opportunity. Just my humble opinion :)

There is no argument with anything you said in your post. It really seems pretty easy, but not necessarily. Thanks for a good post. 🐓🐓
