I always knew, and you always said it wasn't true, but I knew it was. You would get mad when I accused you of it. Then today I heard what I heard and saw what I saw, and everything just clicked together. You had to lie because you had so much at stake and so many other people were depending on you and that made you feel good despite what you had to do. I'm sorry that it's this way. I know you wish it wasn't this way, but it is what it is. I wish I could push a button and make it all different and it was just me and you again, laying in our tent together, only worrying about ourselves and what we needed then and there. I miss those times. I miss you, even though I see you everyday. I guess my only way to help you is to be there for you. Just please don't take advantage of it.
