I was watching a Facebook video earlier where a woman was discussing why people should not marry someone just because they love them. She said that although a couple might be in love with each other, that doesn't mean they should marry just for that reason.
In her opinion, a couple should get married so they can build a life and a community together. She said that most people who marry just for love tend to end up filing for divorce later. Some people didn't agree with her way of thinking, but I think that some of what she said was very logical.
Love is just one part of why two people should want to get married, but in order for it to work, there are many more things that have to be factored into it as well.
Nice opinion
Sage advice. I think people have traditionally known that marriage is as much an economic union as a romantic one.. But let's say the last 50 years or so our culture has been kind of Disneyfied.
