You probably have heard of the saying "Happy wife, happy life" anywhere from a lot of people as I have. Yes, the quote might be true, I agree. However, I always believe that a relationship is a two-way process. It isn't the women who always take the favor from their man. Wives work harder than you think (for the most part) I guess. Hehe. Women in general are naturally sensitive to the needs of someone they care about. The said quote certainly focus on the "wife" due to the fact that it is difficult to find a "man" nowadays who is committed and loving to his lady.
And because I was so happy and "kilig" with my man this morning, I thought of sharing the highlight of my story today. This one deserves a special blog.

I was glad even more when hubby's brother commented on the above photo because somehow, I can make a difference in his life in any way I can.
We both love exchanging photos when we're not together at times, perhaps we miss each other that much as hubby works so hard at his job. So, we subconsciously and consciously make ways on how to express our love for each other to "make up" on those days or moments that we missed.

Even if he's busy at his job, I can always feel that he's with us. He always checks on us during his break or when ever he can.
This is the kind of marriage that I signed for. And, it should be. Every one of us is hoping for and perhaps expecting our partner who can consciously spends and understands meeting our needs - physically, emotionally, socially, and spiritually. Truthfully, no one's dream for a totally selfless partner has been completely realized because nobody is perfect. However, does that mean that such a serving love does not exist? No, not at all. It does actually exist if you both try to make one. It may not be as perfectly and consistently as Jesus' love for us, but thanks to the work of the Holy Spirit where we can consistently grow in meeting each other's needs.
Whenever my husband and I have done something wrong, we got upset of course, but he's not hard on me, or me towards him. Patience and a forgiving heart are the key to resolve any conflict. As what I have observed in our relationship so far, we never use our own "busyness" and tiredness as excuses for not serving each other selflessly.

Serving and encouraging one another by noticing and meeting needs, no matter how big or small they can be, is a ministry of grace. It is the path of blessing. So, don't get tired of doing this as God has purpose throughout even the hardest times.
Any relationship won't work if only one of you is doing the "work". So, I want to change the quote of "Happy wife, happy life" into "A happy couple has a happy life" - a life that has Christ in it.

How about you guys, what are the "language of love" your partner has served toward you this week?
I hope you got inspired to love your significant other more. May God bless everyone of you.
Until next time na sipagin ako! Haha!
You don't fall into love.
YOU COMMIT TO IT.
Love is saying
I will be there
No matter what. (-Tim Keller)

Heart melting as always 😍
His love for you your children and above all his love for our Lord Jesus made him the admirable man every man has to look up to.
A lesson I can tell my children.
God bless you more each and every day.
Yes @ryl everything is just because our love for Jesus. Hubby isn't gonna be like that ig it's not through Him. Praying to God is so powerful as well.
Oh, my brother-in-law is such a good man!!! You both are blessed to have each other [if I haven't said it enough times already. :-) ] I love that "kilig" factor that you have. He is, indeed, a loving husband and he does not only make you feel it by his words; he is a man of action, too. I am thankful to God for you and your kids because you have a God-fearing, Christ-loving and devoted head of your household. I can't wait to see you guys! I love you all!!!
Thanks Ate. That's why I always pray to God because he's still human, I know that he will still disappoint me or make mistakes. I trust God more. He's also excited yo meet you Ate.
