Being in love with a narcissist.How it starts.

When I was 17 I met and fell in love with a man who would change my life for the next 20 years. Let me just set the background for you, I was still living at home with my parents and I've been brought up with lots of love but also knowing right from wrong and in some ways strictly to. I have many problems at school having dyslexia and been cold and lazy until I was 15. Therefore boys didn't even come on to their radar for me I've got to 17 and have never had a boyfriend. I went to work and then we shall call him Mr D. the first time he looked at me I felt something strange in my tummy and when we talked it was like no other feeling ever felt before. I knew I wanted to know more about this man who I thought was the most handsome man I've ever seen and someone really make me laugh stop sometimes it still feels like yesterday but because he had told me he was going through a messy separation I knew my dad wouldn't allow him in the Family home , so maybe a strong willed and naive person I left home! Me and Mr day spent every day and every night together for the following months me laugh like him make me feel wanted like him or make me feel so alive as when I was with him.

It emerged during this time that he was still with his wife and that there was no separation going ahead however by this timeI was hook line and sinker in love with him and I couldn't stop. I told my mum and dad about this man that I have met and the part about him having the family my mum obviously was not happy but my dad who I love so dearly stopped talking to me for two years because he could not believe what his little girl was in his words chucking her life away on.
