The Concept of Love, "Love at first sight" Why the eyes at work? Is the heart dead?

There is no such thing as love at first sight. Realistically, it is not possible. Ignorance may seem like bliss but when you pull away the happy layer it’s still lack of information. To really love another person, you have to know them-their quirks,
their dreams, what pisses them off and makes them smile, their strengths, weakness and flaws. Some say love is kind and love is patient. I have my own version: Love is missing the taste of someone’s morning breath. Thinking they are beautiful even when their nose is Rudolph-red and their hair is bed nest’s crazy. Love isn’t putting up with someone in spite of their faults-its adoring them because of it.

A lot of people may see someone for the first time and say ”I love this person” without knowing the character of such person and they call it ‘love at first sight’. Most people do not really understand the real meaning of the words they use. The word love is often used too freely these days as though it means nothing. This doesn’t mean we should desist from using the word but we should actually mean it when we do. The thing is that a lot of people do not even know that they do this. I too am guilty of this. Not knowing who you love but knowing you love someone is another problem on its own.

Some may disagree with me on this, even the so-called celebrities we claim to love, we do not know anything about them, It is only the basic information known to the general public. Most of them are two-sided, showing one part of their lives to the public and exhibiting another part in their homes. We fall in love with the character being shown to the public without knowing the real person. Everyone has been in the situation where we claim to love someone who we just met and after a few months, w hen we must have seen the real personality that individual possesses, we suddenly don’t love the person anymore. In that case, we must have fallen in love with the person’s looks and not the character. It is important to remember that looks and beauty fades.

The difference between loving someone and falling in love with someone is that when you love someone is when you can easily justify the person's behavior in your court. You must have gotten accustomed to the person’s behavior, both good and bad so whichever character the person decides to exhibit is not new to you. In this case, you love the person because of their quirks and flaws but when you fall in love with someone you can easily fall out of love if the person you claim to be in love with exhibits a character that you don’t like. People have their various opinions about love, however, a fact still remains a fact. At some point, you’ll realize who matters, who never did and who always will.

The journey of love is never for a soul. It's a very powerful thing to bear. The Bible made me understand something which I believed and stick to, God is love .................... Love is more than what humanity can practice cause it's God, but in real sense, many wouldn't agree with me yet they find it too difficult to forgive that same person they claimed to love. Firstly, it's better we get to believe that love lies mostly in the act of forgiveness, many can't trust cause many finds it easy to toy with the hearth, but can you still forgive me when I toy with your heart? What do you think, is love really blind? Forget about Titanic, can you really die for someone? If i truly love you, I can always prevent you from death and dream heaven for you but I can never die for you. If I can't look your nakedness as a wife and cry nor laugh, If I can't leave nor stay with you in the kitchen, then I never needed you!

It takes few minutes to like someone and few hours to love someone but it takes a life-time to forget someone yet I still couldn't remember the manner in which she wears her smile, but I love her, or I fooled her, It's more than my speech, I could still sleep, even without her next to me in bed. To love, is to build a house which it's foundation is too important and could also be dangerous to buy one when man is not convinced.
