Despite your cynicism and paranoia, You still have people you love. Extended family members, siblings, a partner, or even a child. You won't always be around for these people when they need you. You may be incapacitated or even dead. How would you feel if others treated them like sh*t, like they don't matter? How would you feel in your grave then if you discover there's no single person on earth who would show your loved ones kindness?
