The miracle of birth has shined its light on me for sure. It's nothing like the movies and there is so much you can't understand until you are there. This little sweetheart was delivered naturally without an epidural (apparently a very rare thing now a days) and I can see why.
Watching my wife labor from 5:30 AM on Sunday to 2:43 PM on Monday really changed my perspective on life and the meaning of strength and courage. You would think mother nature would have made that a little easier to bare...
Lastly, I left a signed copy of my book there like most places I travel to and hope someone finds it and enjoys and most importantly, passes it along.
Now operating on little sleep and trying to keep up with chores and life, I trudge on. It's incredible what the body is capable of on little sleep when your body kicks into "parent mode."
Again, all mothers, I tip my hat to you.
To my baby girl, enjoy the world and I wish happiness, love, wealth and health for the rest of your life. I will be one of the first to assure this happens :)
Love the babies. Awesome. Thank you. I'm Doctor Oatmeal Joey Arnold Oregon.
Having witnessed it twice I firmly believe that childbirth is a miracle. It is amazing.
Although I do miss sleep.
Congratulations.
Thanks!!! I didn't even know that I could function off this little sleep.
