I have heard so many people say things like "you can't forget the one you had your first sexual experience with", "you can't control your sexual urge when in close contact with your first partner no matter how many years you guys have been apart". How true can this be?

You may not forget the person, but you can actually forget the experience, it all depends on the level of pleasure and satisfaction derived from the experience. It's possible to always give in to your first whenever you guys are in close contact, and it's also possible to deny your first from having sex.
Being the first to have sex with an opposite sex gives you the privilege to lay the foundation, and as we all know, a strong foundation will have a lasting effect, but a weak foundation will fade out easily...
When you're with your partner and you happen to be their first, always try to build a long lasting impression, a strong memory that can't be forgotten, make him/her cherish every moment shared together to the extent that you guys would both become irresistible to each other... But if u fail to lay a long lasting impression, someone else will come, wipe his/her memory of you and build an entirely new memory, in this situation, being the first no longer hold strong will on the other partner...

I don't actually remember my first time. I guess it didn't leave much of an impression.
Yeah, opportunity not properly utilized... Being someone's first is an opportunity to be his/her best...
Actually I'm not sure I agree with that. A first time is rarely the best. Some of my best where with people I didn't even care too much about.
Breast milk remains the best to a child until his taste board becomes more effective in clarifying tastes... Your mom's food remains the best, unless you taste a sweeter one... So what am saying is that the first is given the opportunity to actually be the first person to explore everything with you, from outings, to kisses, romance, and sex... He gets to be the first to actually experience all these with you and when done properly, he leaves a long lasting impression, that even when you're with someone new, and making love, you may unknowingly call his name, but the first ain't remembered when someone else is able to do more than what was initially done there by creating a new experience
