He did have a beautiful story, didn't he? And you are so absolutely right - he was just as good for us as we were to him. How it should be in life.
Our house is full of patience and love but we are trying to find our new normal. It is such a strange feeling when someone passes in your family - it changes the melody completely.
I thought about @rhondak when I was writing this actually - because of her amazing work with animal rescue. I wrote to Bayley's foster mom when he passed and shared photos with her of Bay's full life - that he ended up being strong and happy and very much loved. Rescuing these animals is so brutal on the heart and so much work and dedication.
