"Some say, loyalty inspires boundless hope and where that may be, there is a catch. True loyalty takes years to build and only a second to destroy."- Emily Thorne.
It is common to hear people say, "I am loyal" but really difficult to get the true message behind the word loyalty.
In my part of the world, the word loyalty is thrown around like a ball and mostly used by the most corrupt and indecent of individuals. It is prized per money and influence as against character and principles.
Loyalty truely inspires and when you have even a pinch of it, you are able to make good choice (against all odds and popular opinion), be happy with yourself and are able to contribute positively to the growth of a genuine human nature that fosters love.
I Feel Blessed!
Loyalty is lacking in our world and that poses a big problem because, without one, alliances are shifted and sides not supposed to be taken are taken.
Loyalty to the present earnings of now, has become what many practice. No one trusts anyone and no one is willing to help the other achieve their goals. Everyone is working against everyone because, we are all living a script rewritten and cast by a disloyal king.
I am loyal to the core and have been known to miss out on some very important opportunities because I refused to shift ground. Loyalty is good but it has a price and not many are ready to pay it.
Who are you and what are your principles and creed? Do you do what makes you happy or what should and is expected to be done? Are you loyal? Not the regular loyalty well versed in worded rhymes like we hear on the streets, but one borne out of a heart that truly is dedicated.
True loyalty takes years to build and those years will not be the best for the individual involved. You miss out on opportunities, chances, alliances and freebies because you are loyal to A and K is the one in charge of the goodies.
If you are loyal, guide your loyalty with all diligence and build character because like a pack of cards, loyalty forged through a thousand years can come crashing down in seconds.
Make the world a better place for someone today!
Thats true... I guess thats why in theory of evolution, it is called "The survival of the fittest"
Its has also led man to dominate fellow man to his injury.
Loyalty in the world today is based on personal gain and interest. For as long as I'm gaining from you, I'm bound to remain loyal. The moment the gain stops or someone with a bigger offer comes around, I switch loyalty. This is one of the reasons why it's very hard to trust most people in today's world. Everyone is looking for what they can get.
When one is truly loyal, not the worldly type of loyalty, it pays the individual spiritually and physically. Even when no-one is aware of your loyalty, your heart is at peace. Thanx @ejemai.
