First LPUD of 2024
Cruising along 2024, we have now reached the mid of January and what have we? Yes, the first #lpud the year! Yey! Coming here to do this post, I realized I did not set any target for $LEO this year. It was clear last year that I wanted to reach 5k LP, and through constant powering up, I was able to beat that target before the year end.
It is also clear that targets alone are not sufficient, but we need to have a concrete action plan on how to get to that goal.
Like my Little Man here - he has a target to save up for a laptop, so he started working on his blog, and saving his money in a coin bank.
Likewise, we should also have to keep our goals realistic. I love that Little Man has this goal of saving for a laptop. Realistic? From his own efforts alone, maybe not. But it is definitely not unattainable.
2024 Target
So let me now set a target for this year, i.e., to get to 6,000 staked LP. I really low balled myself this year. Mainly because I know that I may not be achieve it if I shoot for more. This is not fixed though, I can always re-assess along the way.
After the first power up, I am down to 848 LP to work on this year.
LP Target 2024 | LP Held | Balance to Target |
---|---|---|
6,000 LP | 5,152 LP | 848 LP |
I think this should be sustainable for me -- to power up at least 77 LEO each month this year. I have not been very active in the community, but I get some LEO dividends from my HP delegation (~2 LEO per day) plus the curation rewards.
Consistency
This is really the key. To be consistent with the activities that will be the road to achieve the goals.
So for LEO, the action plan is to power up each month and maximize curation rewards.
Dang, this post took many hours to complete and it is now the 16th of January. Hayyy, life.
