LSU vs Mississippi State

in #lsu6 years ago (edited)

LSU will be out for revenge after last year's spanking in Starkville after Mississippi State steamrolled the Tigers 37-7 just last season. Can the Tiger's front seven contain Nick Fitzgerald, who leads the SEC in rushing yards as a quarterback? In the quarterbacks they have played against so far, they have held them under 50 rushing yards in total, but they have not yet faced a QB who is as mobile as Fitzgerald, who managed to put up almost two hundred rushing yards against Auburn two weeks ago. The front seven of LSU will be what decides the outcome of this game.

LSU is only a 6.5 point favorite over the Bulldogs with an over/under 45.5 The Tigers will be defending their turf at home in "Death Valley" (Tiger Stadium). The game will take place tomorrow night at 6:00 Central Time. Will LSU remain as the top-ranked 1-loss team or will the Bulldogs knock off another top ten opponent?
