Context
I come from a long line of engineers, owners and, pre-1066 nobility; the majority of my living family are in or qualify for Mensa.
Primarily a visual thinker, with an eidetic memory, 140+ IQ and top 1% percentile for block design and object reconstruction.
So, do you think in pictures?
No, not entirely how you are thinking, but also, yes, visual thinking is about an internal mental projection of information.
On top of that, I can mentally reconstruct anything I've seen or witnessed and or build/interact with the said mental model.
I don't watch horror films for the same reason I can't close one door in my house as I hear my daughter's fingers crunch every time.
Imagine Spatial Audio for memories and thinking; the ability to create abstract mental objects and manipulate them is just something I assumed everyone could do for many years.
The world for me is very confusing, People don't interact with the exact resolution of details as I do, so It just works out I'm always at odds with something or someone,
très ennuyant. (*very annoying)
With this visual mental representation, The internet is an abstract mental model, so, for example. When I worked at Original Organics ltd, when people reported bugs, I saw the line of code that was most likely broken within some seconds.
Sounds rad, but hows is that relevant
Well, left to myself, I can't control this brain; I used to be able to legitimately think about three things, rotating the main topic, putting the other two on the backburner.
In recent years, to cut out a sob story of who gives a shit, my doctors give me ADHD medication, which allows me to, do simple, basic things you might take for granted, like think about what I want to think about or remember what I'm thinking about while I'm doing the thing.
Not long after setting in stone a re-release, I order in my medication with three days left (if I half dose), Insert Supply chain issue... Fuck, nine days later... Meds arrive... also, at this point, All my credit cards are now maxed, again.
Now I've lost 12 days!!!! But, at that point, I figure I can get everything done... IF nothing breaks.
Do I need to explain more? Probably not; on the positive side, we now have a REST HTTPS multihost, clientside fileserver, downloader, blockchain/wallet/binary runner, with data and encryption handling for both VPN exit nodes and the Client-side GUI. insert deep breath
I'll probably have something up this weekend; I did not want to share this, but I think maybe people might be less mad with me if I'm just honest.
