On September 11th 2001, he was supposed to board American Airlines Flight 11, returning to Los Angeles. However, after suffering a hangover from the previous night, he arrived at the Logan International Airport almost 10 minutes after the gates had closed.
30 minutes later, Flight 11 was flown into the North Tower of the World Trade Center and everyone on board was instantly killed.
The fact that he had a hangover from the night before and the fact that his travel agent incorrectly told him that his flight left at 08:15 rather than 07:45, meant that he didn’t become the 2,997th fatality that day.
We would never have been able to experience Family Guy, American Dad!, or Ted and Ted 2. Whatever you think about the guy, he is immensely talented, with his incredible plethora of voices as well as his witty and satirical humour.
Moreover, in 2012, he dated Emilia Clarke for six months. I’m sure that a lot of men would kill to date the Mother of Dragons herself.
