*Offerings of fruits and fresh flowers depend on the circumstances of the individual’s family.
*It is best to offer fruits with fragrance, such as; apple, orange, mango, pineapple, and watermelon.
*Fruits such as banana and peach are not suitable for fruit offerings for Buddhas and Bodhisattvas.
*It is good to offer lucky bamboos to Buddhas and Bodhisattvas.
*Chrysanthemum, rose, lily, orchid, and daffodil, are good for flower offerings for Buddhas and Bodhisattvas.
*Flowers such as peach blossom or morning glory are not suitable for flower offerings for Buddhas and Bodhisattvas.
*In addition, pot plants with soil should not be offered and placed on the main altar.
*Generally, best to offer one type of flowers or bamboos in a vase.

问042：请问卢台长供奉菩萨的水果与鲜花什么不能供奉的，可不可以供奉菊花，玫瑰花与百合花？
答042：
*供奉水果与鲜花要看个人家里的条件。
*供奉鲜花水果最久不要超过一周才换新的，并且要保持新鲜，如果不新鲜了，就要尽快换掉，哪怕没有新的换上去，也不能把已经坏掉的供在佛台上。并且水果要整盘一起换，不能拿掉几个再把其他的放回去。
*每个果盘，只放一种水果，不宜多种混在一起。花瓶中可以同时有多种花。
*水果只能是新鲜的，不宜供干果、果脯之类的。
*最好供奉带有香味的水果，如苹果，橙子，芒果，菠萝，西瓜等。
香蕉与桃子是不适宜供奉佛菩萨。
*供奉菩萨富贵竹是好的。
*菊花、百合花、兰花、水仙、牡丹花、康乃馨等是可以供奉佛菩萨。带刺的玫瑰花不宜供在佛台上。
*供奉佛菩萨的花，可以通过名字来判断，如桃花，喇叭花等都是不能供奉的。
*另外，带泥土的盆栽不要供在主台上。
*一般来说，供奉富贵竹的话，可以两边各一个花瓶，每只花瓶一支、两支、三支以下都是可以，最好不要太多。鲜花的数量没关系。
