I love seeing how the guitars evolve. That's interesting about the wires. Network cables have to be high quality to get the data through. I've heard of people weaving them together to make hi-fi connections.
It must be hard to let some of the guitars go.
they are such good quality, you can make audio snakes for connecting multiple mics.. but, if you ask a guitar purist, we are heretics! hahahah
