This shit spreads fastest among those that largely contribute nothing positive to the human experience and/or have too much time on their hands. There are a million tangible issues these people could focus their energies on but that requires actual work and the potential to fail. Whereas if your reality is centered around conjecture you can stay wrapped snuggly in ignorance forever.
