Devil comes to earth in various forms, Strives to enchant mankind with charm and beauty. That's exactly " Nettle Caterpillar" with an interesting ornament named "Green Devil."
Ulat Green Devil dipersenjatai sepasang tanduk dengan set duri yang menyengat, sehingga disebut juga ulat jelatang. Duri-duri beracun di tanduknya siap kapanpun mengancam siapa yang mendekat. Jika terkena durinya, racun yang berasal dari bawah duri ini mampu membuat gatal seketika hingga sengatan yang begitu menyakitkan.
Green Devil Caterpillar armed with a pair of horns with a stinging thorns, so-called “nettle caterpillars”. The poisonous spikes in his horns are ready whenever threatening who is approaching. If exposed to the thorns, the poison coming from under the thorn is able to make itch instantly until the sting is so painful.
Saya menemukan ulat ini di daun kelapa yang masih muda di belakang rumah saya. Green devil menempel kuat di jari-jari daun kelapa dan memakannya dengan lahap. Hanya bagian ujung daun kelapa yang menjadi favoritnya, setelah itu dia beralih ke ujung daun yang lain dan melanjutkan makan dengan cara mundur kebelakang.
I found this caterpillar in young coconut leaves behind my house. Green devils stick strongly to the fingers of the coconut leaves and eat them greedily. Only the tip of the coconut leaves that became his favorite, after that he turned to the other end of the leaf and continue to eat by backward.
