Fantastic pictures capturing this redheaded woodpecker. A few years back I lived on the gulf coast of Alabama near Mobile. We had a lot of pine trees around the yard and a redheaded woodpecker made a nest. I video taped him for awhile flying in and out. It was really cool to watch. Nature is amazing. Thanks for sharing.
