Photography - Macro Of A Mushroom In the Backyard

Hello Nature Lovers From Around The Globe!

It´s already Spring in Southern Spain although calendar wise and officially, it´ll be on March 21. Around the Mediterranean area, it is warmer by 10°C than most european countrie and it is the ever changing weather of rain and shine that gives humidity on the grounds so that a lot of herbs, grass and mushrooms pop-out and shine on the surfaces no matter how arid the soil is.

Today, I am sharing the images of a mushroom that popped-up in my backyard in Spain, taken just before we left for homebase. I am not sure whether it is edible but it surely is interesting to look at as it is so tiny and had been magnified only by the camera.

What I have observed is the growth of the brown fungi-like structure underneath its umbrella. The life of this mushroom had only been around 5 days and after that... it just dried off.

This is a miracle from mother nature so I hope you find these images interesting.
