So, while procrastinating over a recent project, I decided to turn my smartphone into a macro camera (I waste a lot of time waiting for deadlines to sneak up on me).
I read up on a whole bunch of tutorials, watched a whole bunch of youtube videos and made my own macro lens for my smartphone using an old digital camera and a paper clip.
This is my stunningly aesthetic new piece of tech
Surprisingly, it has worked quite well and I have become a bit of a bore about it. I have been running around trying to get close-ups of everything, literally everything
Here are some of my test photos:
On to some less interesting, but I think still cool shots
And finally an action shot!
Anyway, I have a feeling this procrastination may become a new obsession.
I want to continue taking closer and closer photos, I'm thinking of buying a cheap microscope and seeing if I can use the lenses from that in some fashion.
