Have a nice winter evening to all my friends!

The advent of a new camera in my life, really increased my passion for photography. I like to experiment with different kinds of shooting, with lighting and settings. Of course, to become a professional photographer, I need to learn a lot more and practice. Today I will show you some of my macro works.

Doing macro photography, I realized that my lens 18/55 mm is not very suitable for this. This is the standard lens for my camera. When I understand the subtleties of photography more, most likely I will need other lenses, each of which is designed for a certain direction of photography. But as long as I'm at the beginning of my learning path, a standard lens is enough for me.

For shooting, I often use mode A. in this mode, it is easier for me to work now, because in many ways it is automatic. This mode uses aperture priority when shooting. For macro photography the aperture is very necessary, in my opinion. I like to take pictures with a blurred background. For such photos, I set the minimum aperture value-from 3.5 to 5. It looks nice when shooting small objects. Thus, all the attention of the viewer is fully paid to the subject of photography.

Also in this mode, I can manually set the ISO parameter, which is responsible for the illumination of the photo. The higher the ISO level is set, the whiter and brighter it will look photo. This is useful when taking pictures in places with insufficient light. On the contrary, we can add mystery and drama to the image by reducing the ISO value when shooting.

The most difficult parameter of shooting for me now is the shutter Speed of the camera. This is the rate at which the shot was taken. Many photographers use a long camera exposure to create photos of landscape masterpieces. But I don't really understand the intricacies of the use of this parameter. I usually use a short camera shutter speed now, around 1/20 or 1/80. When the camera is exposed for a long time, use a tripod because the camera must be stationary. Any movement is able to spoil the frame, which is done, for example, a few seconds. If the exposure is too short, it is also necessary to use additional exposure settings and ISO, as the frame may get too dark.
Simply put, exposure is the time of how much the camera lens is open. And with a short shutter speed, it opens and closes instantly, very little light enters the lens. In General, my knowledge of photography is still too small for quality work with the camera's shutter speed.

Today I was practicing my macro. I walked with the camera in my yard. I made many shots of dry grass and leaves. But I was especially attracted by the view of icy snow on the roof of my shed. The sun warms his, and he began to melt. But frost quickly forged his again, not allowing turn into full-fledged icicle. See how interesting it is frozen. All twisted and convoluted. Visible struggle frost and sun, this snow melted and froze again and again.

Another surprising discovery for me was this lichen on a dry tree. The trunk is completely covered with this parasitic plant. And the tree reconciled. In a sign that the fight is over, on the barrel started to grow moss. Fluffy moss so slowly wobbles in the wind, as raised "white flag". This little Macro world is full of secrets and beautiful views. I look forward to the spring, to shoot flowers and insects close-up. I think it will bring me a lot of joy and give new discoveries and admiration for the usual things.
