I tried out my new 3 dollar lens kit for my phone. This macro lens works great considering that it was basically free. That rock is a small piece of another bigger chunk of lava rock (too lazy to google the official term btw). It looks great in photos. That light is coming from cheap glass prism which also cost around 3 dollars. Thank you eBay and child labor.

What I like about the photo is the impression it gives, and that it seems that the rays come out of the rock, and not that they are reflected through a lens

Well, it won't take long to find these on eBay. I bought the lava rock from Pompeij so I don't know where you can get it from.

I got it from one of those scammy tourist kiosks in Pompeij. I'm sure you can find these from many other tourist attractions.
