Rock Pools Sea life, small patches of white beaches
Low tide offers time to explore rock pools, witnessing crabs, anemones, urchins, mermaids purse (shark eggs), crabs, starfish and lots of different types of seaweed. Life in the pools, no need to snorkel, let me show you what I saw...
Photography is above the water indicating how clean the seas are being able to capture from above without any special camera gear.

Diving in trying to find a mermaid or some small life to capture in a pic, the tiny fish as too swift, crabs scuttled into hiding had no luck there either today.
Colours playing beneath the surface, what a delightful place to learn about nature, tiny fish darting around at high speed too fast for me to capture before going into hiding in between the pinks and green life in beach pools.
Squiltchy green whatever they are squirt out air when trapped under water, soft to touch, walking on tip toes to avoid damaging these delicate blossoms of the sea.
Beach pool fascination captures the mind as to what life lies below the waves, a life most of us will never have the privilage of witnessing, make the most of great days on the beach when tides recede revealing a luxury abundant life.
Looking out onto the edge of where the rocks drop suddenly, little sandy beaches appear every so often, you could swim if you wished bearing in mind none of this area is protected, so whatever you do treat nature with respect.
After a few hours of enjoying the tidal pools, hidden little beaches, abundant sea life entertaining you, the tide starts to turn, capturing a last splash before continuing with the journey, hope you enjoyed taking a closer look at what South African beaches offer.

Like the approach of instead of going under water, just make use of the natural tides to capture some beautiful images! Thank you for sharing!
Makes one feel like you are 5 years old again, exploring nature seeing new living entities, thanks for visiting @ovinomis

There is beautiful life around us. Nature is the best help for depression and other modern world problems. @damiana
Agree with you @damiana get out and enjoy whenever you are able.
The pictures are great and I hope the place stays as clean and uncorrupted by humans. I don't particularly go out to enjoy nature but I'm grateful to it and do my very best not to add more harm to it. I do however enjoy beaches, I love how it is very sunny and calming.
Being within a nature reserve, it is up to each individual to leave only footprints behind @fleurinna
I miss that kind of marine life. I lived in Key West and on St. Croix and would go snorkeling often. We have beautiful beaches where I live but the water is a bit murky so you can't see as much.
We need to keep our environment clean to preserve nature, giving it the best possible chance not to fall into decay @the-witty-waiter

Beautiful:)
What a beautiful post as always, @joanstewart. Your beach and tidepools look so similar to what I experienced in California. I'm so happy to see it from my landlocked place in the world today.
If it took you back to one good memory, the photography has done it's work @fitinfun

Beautiful photos, @joanstewart. I would love to go to South Africa one day to go on safaris and visit the beaches. It's amazing how clear the waters are. Nature at its best!!!
South Africa will welcome you @evlachsblog
I just love the purple of the coral and plants! We used to visit Pumula beach often and loved discovering the treasure the rock pools had to offer.
Will have to get to that beach one day, it always makes me feel like I am 5 years old again exploring rock pools.
That's amazing, @joanstewart! We don't have rock pools like these, or I haven't had the fortune to find these - they certainly are beautiful and so full of life! Thank you for sharing these photographs... :) Have a happy day!
Thanks for visiting @ackhoo you will find hidden places like this along your coastline I am sure.
