My entry for this week's Macro Photography Contest organized by @juliank. Wild Bergamot or Bee Balm is a perennial herb native to parts of North America. It has beautiful red, pink, or lilac flowers and grows to about 3ft in height. The bees absolutely love it! You can start bee balm from seed or if you can find some plants in early spring, dig up a few and replant them. It is often used in traditional herbal medicines to relieve digestive ailments.
