This is so sad. We never get a true picture of the machinations of TPTB. But I am always aware that it is not the truth that is reported but a narrative that always seems to distract from the main political or financial events happening in the country.

At this point, I do not even want to invest thought into the disgustingness that the upper echelon of control. Your points are valid.
